Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Gene was a Partner at Great Hill Partners, LLC, a private equity firm specializing in media/communications, technology and business services. Gene was formerly Director of Corporate and Business Development at Geocast Network Systems, a technology infrastructure provider backed by Kleiner Perkins, Mayfield and IVP. Prior to Geocast, he was in investment banking at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. Gene has received both a B.S. in Economics and a Master's of Business Administration from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Michael Dubno Michael Dubno served as Chief Technology Officer for Goldman Sachs for 20 years. During his tenure with Goldman Sachs he was the Architect and Chief developer for key systems including their first program trading system, the primary and derivative system, time series analysis systems, and investment research systems. Michael currently serves as Chairman of NYC NJ First. In 2001, he founded Gadgetoff, an annual invitation only event that takes place in New York City. Gadgetoff is a celebration of technical and artistic innovation and an intellectual salon of the future. Gadgetoff is also a blog of the people, ideas, and products that make the Gadgetoff event unique.
Peter B. Hopper President & Co-Founder, DH Capital Prior to founding DH Capital, Peter was Founder, President and CEO of DURO Communications, one of the largest privately held ISP/CLECs in the U.S.. During Peter's tenure at DURO, the company completed nearly 50 acquisitions, raised over $200 million in equity and debt financing and grew the company to nearly $70 million in revenues. Previous to DURO, Peter headed New Business Development for Helicon Cable, a top 25 MSO. At Helicon, Peter directed the company's ISP, paging and private carrier businesses and oversaw the launch of Helicon's cable modem service. Prior to Helicon, Peter was a foreign exchange trader with ANZ Bank in New York. Peter currently serves as a partner in BPI, LLC a $36 million private equity partnership. Peter holds a B.S. in Finance from Lehigh University.
Felix HernandezFelix has been an active angel investor and entrepreneur for the last 16 years and was the first outside investor in Datapipe. He has used his analytical and management skills to nurture and expand several companies in diverse industries, with a primary focus on achieving sustained profitability. Felix has been involved in searching out and evaluating new business ideas and projects, including Ficon Technologies which was sold to Globespan (GSPN); and CalAgriboard which is engaged in developing environmentally friendly medium density fiber board from rice straw and has obtained 90 million in financing from the State of California.
Robb Allen Founder & Chief Executive Officer Robb is an entrepreneur who has built successful companies in real estate and technology. He founded Datapipe on the principle of delivering the best customer service experience in the hosting industry. His focus on combining world-class technology, strategic locations and passionate IT professionals has positioned Datapipe as a global leader for Managed IT Services. As CEO, his current responsibilities include overall company oversight and leadership, strategic planning and direction and product/service development.
Michael J. Parks
Chief Technology Officer As CTO, Michael provides strategic leadership for Datapipe's technical departments. He is responsible for maintaining Datapipe's global network infrastructure which has consistently been recognized for speed and reliability. Michael also leads Datapipe's development team in designing and improving the industry-leading features within Datapipe’s client portal.
